IAQ Website of the Month

HVAC gone wild!

Each month we publish a newsletter titled IAQ Website of the Month.  The excerpt below was originally published in the March 2012 newsletter.

In honor of April Fool’s Day, I wanted to highlight some foolish (and funny) pictures related to heating, ventilating and air-conditioning (HVAC) systems.

The March IAQ Website of the Month is  Here are my top 10 favorite pictures on their website:

  1. Heat going nowhere
  2. Does this need cleaning?
  3. Venting good, trip hazard bad
  4. Cooling coil or ice chest?
  5. Ventilation in-effectiveness
  6. What happens when there is a sale on spray foam
  7. Filters gone wrong
  8. Do your ducts hang low, do they wobble to and fro?
  9. The high’s and lows of a condensate drain line
  10. The importance of keeping mechanical rooms clean (warning: a little gross)

If you enjoyed these pictures, there are plenty more on the website’s “HVAC wall of shame”.
